18"x 14" x 3/4", Mixed Media Painting, Reminiscing

This is an original mixed media painting.  18" x 14" x 3/4". I layered painted silk, acrylics, bits of paper, and threads to create texture and a lot of layers. Transparency and translucency are the main parts of the design. This technique takes the colors to the next level. Colors and textures show differently under different lighting.
