Beautiful 3D show is finished this weekend, and next Friday we are setting up a Christmas Show. Little pieces of art and small gifts made by local artists will fill the gallery. Gallery is open every day, except Mondays (closed) December 2 to December 30.
Spur Line Art Trail

Lesley Russell created an art walk in Canmore through the Town of Canmore's "Building Neighbourhoods Builds Community". Located at the Spur Line Trail, 150 local artists, including the children painted on slices of wood, celebrating the railway and mining history, landscape and wildlife. Painted wood plaques are professionally sealed and mounted on trees to create a beautiful art walk. I am proud to be one of the artists.

Temporary public Art walk starts at Bow Falls and ends in Banff. You can start in Banff, but why to pay for parking, if it is free at beautiful Bow Falls. Lovely Art pieces are on display till September 7th, 2021. The exhibition was put together by Bridget Carter, Carter Ryan Gallery, and the town of Banff. Slices of a tree trunk were painted by the artists. Mine is the abstract one, with the stiffened painted silk, old rusty piece of the railway and an animal bone dyed with local plants.
